The gal behind the camera!

About me!

Hi! I am a Christ following, 23 year old wife, and mom to two! I live in the country side of Astatula, and spend my spare time hanging out with family and friends, playing piano, or taking more photos! Read below to hear about how I combined my two greatest passions into this business!

My Passion for Photography

My love for photography started at the young age of 11 when my parents gifted me my first camera. Both of my parents were/are photographers, so it runs in the blood ;) As a teen I loved capturing my pets, wildlife, or zoo animals. As I got older I grew to love taking photos of my friends and family, and launched my business as a lifestyle + documentary style photographer. I then felt called to combine my passion for capturing real, meaningful moments with my passion for birth and pivoted my business to birth photography!

My Passion for Birth

Like my love for photography, my passion and interest for birth also started at a young age (11 or 12) I’ve always felt innately that birth was not something to be feared or controlled, rather something to embrace! I have enjoyed for many years now researching and learning as much about the birth process as possible, and I constantly continue to expand that knowledge. I have always looked forward to my future births, knowing I wanted a home birth from a young age. I have been blessed to experience my dream of having  home births twice now.

Becoming a Doula

After attending births as a photographer, I found myself always wanting to extend myself to clients beyond just photos while at births. I wanted to help educate, support, care for, and advocate for my clients. It felt like the most natural next step (and honestly one that I have always had in the back of my mind.) So I did it! I became a certified birth doula, and am absolutely LOVING it. I am thriving in this role and just enjoying supporting other women.
